About dashi
dashi is a Chrome extension that replaces the new tab page with a dashboard of widgets you arrange yourself. Widgets include bookmarks, notes, to-dos, weather, world clocks, habits, countdowns, a Pomodoro timer, a reading list, reminders and a calculator, and tiles snap into place with alignment guides. You can keep several dashboard pages, and each display remembers its own layout. It also adds a search filter that builds Google search operators from plain-language options, a volume booster with a limiter, a focus mode that blocks chosen sites, and a switch that pauses browsing history. Everything is stored on your device and no account is needed. dashi is free and accepts donations.
