DoNotNotify is an Android app that filters the notifications other apps send, using rules you set up. A rule can match the app name, the message text or a regex pattern, and then block the notification, let it through, stack a chatty app's alerts into one, or throttle an app that keeps repeating itself. Rules can be limited to certain hours or to times when you are actively using the phone, and community rule lists are shared on GitHub. All processing happens on the device: the app has no servers, needs no internet access and does not collect personal data. It is free on Google Play and F-Droid, and the full source code is published under the MIT license.
