Terminal app for tracking home maintenance and projects
micasa is a keyboard-driven terminal UI for keeping records about your house. It tracks maintenance tasks with schedules, due dates and history, home projects from first idea to completion, contractor quotes side by side, and the vendors and jobs you have used, so questions like when the furnace filter was last changed or what plumbing cost this year have an answer. Navigation uses Vim-style modal keys, and you can optionally ask a local LLM about your data. Everything lives in a single SQLite file on your own machine, with no cloud, account or subscription; a backup is a file copy. It installs with go install or as a prebuilt binary for Linux, macOS and Windows, includes a demo mode with sample data, and is open source under Apache 2.0.
