Pug is a product analytics tool for teams that want to understand how people use their app. It covers trends, funnels, retention, segmentation, user flows and top lists, and merges anonymous activity into one profile once someone signs in. It is cookieless by default, so visitors are counted rather than identified until they opt in. A live view shows events as they arrive, dashboards compare periods, and a read-only API and MCP server let AI tools query the data. SDKs cover web, Flutter, Android, Node and Ruby. The cloud version is free up to 100,000 events a month with usage pricing beyond that, and the AGPL-3.0 code can be self-hosted.
