Sesame is a password manager for Windows and Linux that keeps your vault as an encrypted file on your own computer. You do not need an account to create or open a vault, and it works without a network connection. It stores passwords, 2FA codes and recovery details, imports exports from Bitwarden, 1Password, LastPass, KeePass, browsers and 2FA apps, points out weak passwords, and supports Windows Hello and PIN unlock. A Chrome extension is available. Sesame is in public beta and the site notes it has not had an independent audit yet. The whole app is free and open source under the AGPL. Sync between your devices is built in and can be self-hosted; a hosted sync service is planned at EUR 1 a month or EUR 10 a year but was not open at the time of checking.
