About Write.md
Write.md is a native Markdown editor for macOS built around shaping the space you write in. Beyond light and dark modes you can set the typeface, size, line height and page width, colors, transparency and glass effects, window borders and even image or video backgrounds, then save the combination as an appearance profile and switch between profiles. It works on plain local .md files, offers optional Vim keybindings and runs its writing corrections locally. There is no account and no telemetry. Write.md is free and open source under the Apache 2.0 license and is downloaded as a DMG from its GitHub releases.
