0sql is a semantic layer for teams that want AI agents or apps to query a data warehouse without letting a model write the SQL. You describe the warehouse in YAML, send a query spec in business terms (measures, dimensions and filters), and the planner returns one deterministic SQL statement for your database, or a refusal that explains why the question cannot be answered. It handles measures from several fact tables and two-level aggregations such as a median of order totals, and it supports thirteen SQL dialects. The server only plans queries and never connects to the warehouse or sees rows; a local CLI drafts models and runs check queries. It comes from the team behind Strata, is MIT licensed and free, and has no paid edition.
