Bento is a presentation app where each deck is one HTML file that carries the viewer, presenter view, editor and the slide content together. The content sits as plain JSON at the top of the file, and fonts, images and charts are embedded, so a deck can be emailed, archived or opened offline without an account or a cloud service. It supports morph transitions, animation, video and live charts, and ships with a small gallery of templates to start from. It is meant to be edited by AI assistants as well as by hand: you can attach the file to a chat or point a coding agent at it, following the published agents.md guide. Slides is the first app, with notes and sheets listed as coming later. The software is open source under the MIT license and free to use in the browser or as a download.
