Keen Bean is a Mac app for people who run meetings and then have to write them up, such as consultants and founders. While you talk, it pulls tasks, decisions, risks and blockers into cards, and when the discussion gets specific it starts drafts: a spec, a diagram or a rough screen mock-up. You can type a question or say "hey Bean" to ask for something mid-call. Audio goes from your Mac to a transcription service and the transcript to the model, without passing through the company's own servers, and everything is saved as Markdown and JSON in folders you choose, including an Obsidian vault. AI usage is included, so no API keys are needed. Plans are US$19 or US$39 a month after a 14-day trial.
