Moltis is an open-source personal assistant you run on your own hardware, from a Mac mini or Raspberry Pi to any server. It ships as a single Rust binary (also via Homebrew, Docker or packages), and after setup you open a local web UI, add a provider key and pick a model. It works with cloud providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI and Gemini as well as local models through Ollama, LM Studio or GGUF files. The agent keeps persistent memory, schedules recurring jobs from plain-language requests, browses the web, manages calendars over CalDAV, handles voice in and out, and runs code in a Docker or Apple Container sandbox with approval for each action. You can reach it through Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Slack, Matrix, Nostr and Teams. It is MIT licensed and free.
