About Parrot
Parrot is a Mac app that records calls from whatever your computer plays and hears, so no bot joins Zoom, Meet or Teams. Transcription and speaker detection run on the Mac by default, with cloud transcription only if you switch it on. During a call, an assistant suggests answers drawn from documents you have added, such as a pricing sheet or FAQ, and labels whether each answer came from your files or from general knowledge. Call profiles (sales discovery, interview, investor pitch and others, or your own) change what the assistant watches for and how the post-call report is written, and you can ask about past calls later. It is free, GPL-3.0 licensed, needs no account, and runs on macOS 14+ with Apple Silicon.
