TypeScript backend that lives in one folder of your repo
Typebase puts an app's backend in a single typebase/ folder inside an existing repository, written entirely in TypeScript. Tables are defined with Drizzle on Postgres, server functions reach the frontend with their types intact, auth is set up in one file with better-auth, and file storage uses Vercel Blob or Cloudflare R2. With no dashboard settings or SQL policies, the whole backend is plain code that developers and their AI coding agents can read. A CLI deploys it to Vercel, Cloudflare Workers or Deno Deploy, and it works with Next.js, SvelteKit, Nuxt and Expo. It is MIT-licensed and charges no platform fee.
