ctx is an open-source command-line toolchain for developers who work with coding agents. It indexes the session transcripts that tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode and Copilot CLI leave on your machine, so you can search past sessions and blame a line of code back to the session that wrote it. ctx graph maps relationships across a codebase, and ctx sift trims noisy tool output before an agent reads it. Everything runs locally. It installs with a one-line script on macOS, Linux and Windows, or you can ask your agent to set it up, and it includes a skill so agents can call it themselves. The source is on GitHub under the Apache-2.0 license.
