About emailmd
emailmd converts Markdown into responsive HTML emails that hold up in Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail and Yahoo. It uses MJML underneath, so you write plain Markdown plus fenced directives for hero images, columns, callouts, buttons and charts built from table cells, and set brand colours in frontmatter; a dark-mode palette is derived automatically. Before you send, it lints for missing alt text, http images, Gmail's clipping limit and common spam phrases, and it generates a plain-text part from the same source. It ships as an npm package with a CLI, a web builder with 13 templates, an embeddable React builder and an MCP server. The code is MIT-licensed on GitHub.
