terminal-code puts a full VS Code session inside a terminal window. It combines code-server, which runs VS Code in a browser, with terminal-browser, which renders a browser inside the terminal, so you keep the familiar editor, extensions and source control panel without leaving the shell or opening a desktop app. The tode command opens the current folder, a file at a given line and column, a diff of two files or the source control view, and it can open in a split pane or run on a remote machine over SSH. It can import settings, keybindings, snippets and extensions from VS Code-compatible editors. The project comes from Zenbu Labs, is MIT licensed, and installs with a script on macOS and Linux, with a separate Windows option.
